My Review
In this charming rhyming book, the author pulls us into bear’s world. When he wakes from hibernation, he is hurt and confused that none of his animal friends want to hug him. Right now, a hug is all he wants in the whole, wide world.
This book is very moving and all of us, adults and kids alike, will relate to the sadness that hung around us during the pandemic, when it was at times impossible to hug our friends. This sense of loneliness pervades our everyday lives too, and this book is a welcome reminder that we should all make time to hug people who may be feeling lonely or alienated. A beautifully illustrated book that children and adults will adore.

It’s so nice to hear about children’s books reviews once and awhile, because too many book fanatics sometimes focus too much on teen or adult rated genres. This sounds like such a sweet story too! Thanks so much for sharing!
We all need hugs, adults as much as children, and this seems a great way to explain things like Corona to kids
